Great first edition of Flanders Sales Auction

The concept is offering honest horses for honest prices … “the goal is reached,” reacts the organisation after the first online edition of the Flanders Sales Auction.

Two young Belgian junior riders look back with a smile with a nice average. “It’s great to see there was an interest out of over 20 countries! That means the world likes the Flemish showjumping quality horses.”

The absolute record price was payed for the 7-year-old Quality van de Kwakkelhoek. “Lucky an investor bought this amazing mare to continue under the saddle of Kasper de Boeck… this is really the cherry on top!” The 7-year-old mare remains in Belgium for 45.000 euro.

Highest price for the youngster was set for the only 4-year-old Knock Knock T. For 38.000 euro the gelding moves to Luxembourg.

“Not all horses found a new owner, but nevertheless we are happy over 80% of the horses are sold. This motivates us and we already look forward to our next edition later this year.”
